Amazon deletes e-book
Posted by Andrew Girle on July 18, 2009
I’m going to jump on the outraged bandwagon here (and hope that this is true news). Amazon publishing has deleted two e-books from their kindle readers AFTER people purchased them in good faith. Allegedly the books were ‘unauthorised editions’ and the publisher demanded they get taken off. And the books were…
1984 and Animal Farm.
Big Amazon is watching you…
(and on the topic of digital rights management, go have a look at the Jim Baen’s Universe website – where they have been mounting an anti-DRM campaign for some time and present excellent arguments against it)
