Finding time to write

Posted by Andrew Girle on March 6, 2012

I have a fair sort of a daily commute to work each day; I’m up at 4am to leave at 5 so I miss traffic to start at 6. I pick the kids up on the way home, so usually not in until 4pm. By the time I am ready to write, it is time to actually go to bed so I don’t fall asleep on the drive back to work!

I know many aspiring authors have written at all hours; the closest I get is to keep my laptop with me and tap out a few paragraphs while waiting outside the school, or when I get up in the morning.

I do know that if I spent less time on “Words with Friends” I would get more writing done!
